We will do our best!

Cub Scouts provides a group environment which is intellectually stimulating, physically vital and directed towards satisfying the child. Each child becomes a wolf cub within the pack, following the law of the jungle and learning community and life skills.

The Cub section takes inspiration from The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling, and trained leaders take their names from the stories within (Akela, Baloo, Bagheera among many others).

Cub Scouts are formed into a Pack of up to 36 children from 8 to 10 years old*.  The Pack is split into up to 6 Sixes with up to 6 Cubs in each, which encourages leadership, teamwork, competition and cooperation.

They learn many skills, including basic camping and bush craft, first aid, care for the environment and community. They also develop their physical, mental and interpersonal skills to overcome challenges.

The 3rd Sunbury Cub Pack currently meets at the Miller St Hall on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30pm.

* The commencement for advancement in Sections may vary by up to 6 months.
